Anansi Boys - Neil Gaiman I'm really not sure what I was expecting when a friend recommended this as a sort of sequel to American Gods. I will say I had high hopes and this book didn't disappoint. If anything I found this book better in some ways. The narrative flowed better and I was enmeshed almost from the first paragraph. If you like to laugh, and I mean a good full laugh and not a giggle, Anansi Boys should give you ample chances to give hearty ones. The characters are fully fleshed out and make you want to learn more about them. This is only my second Gaiman book but this one has instilled him as a "must read" author.
