I always have a problems writing reviews about graphic novels. I think I can blame it on the fact you have to take the artwork into consideration as well. This is the first graphic novel I haven't had that problem as the story would stand on it's own even with poor art. Fortunately that also isn't the case here. The art is very stark and simplistic which is perfect as it leaves you to concentrate on the tale but is by no means poor.I'm also glad it's in black and white as I can do without the blood spatter. I'm going to read this series slowly so I don't get ahead of the show which I'm also immensely enjoying albeit with closed eyes a good majority of the time.
