I read this book to see what all the fuss is all about. After reading it I still can't see it. This book has single handedly destroyed any magic and mystery that the vampire mythos still held for me.When 17 year old girls don't even question or slightly fear blood drinkers but instead accept it as easily as hearing their favorite band is playing locally then I have to literally shake my head.Written for YA and aimed at YA it really holds little appeal for a mature reader.
